Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chauncey Braden made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 minutes, Mark Bonsaint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xeneise and the Michellton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Xeneise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Bonsaint to maneuver through the defense. After 3 minutes of play, Michellton FC's Chauncey Braden made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Trépanier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute Chauncey Braden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clyde Trépanier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Leandro Thayer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clyde Trépanier. Xeneise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Thayer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Chauncey Braden struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Clyde Trépanier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Michellton FC. Clyde Trépanier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chauncey Braden, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Leandro Thayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clyde Trépanier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Leandro Thayer made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Xeneise's Clyde Trépanier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Michellton FC booed when Xeneise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walton Cornell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clyde Trépanier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Thayer in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Hugues Ernst sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clyde Trépanier skillfully saved the ball. Archie Swain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Grove having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Michellton FC's Leandro Thayer made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Trépanier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Xeneise's goal looked a bit too open when Chauncey Braden came free, but Clyde Trépanier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Michellton FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adrien Belanger made the kick off in the second half. Adrien Belanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Grove having to interfere. Archie Swain took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlton Grove. Carlton Grove dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 61st minute, Michellton FC's Chauncey Braden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Clyde Trépanier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chauncey Braden in the 64th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Michellton FC's Chauncey Braden ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clyde Trépanier. Clyde Trépanier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Leandro Thayer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Chauncey Braden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chauncey Braden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Trépanier having to interfere. Adrien Belanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Carlton Grove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Michellton FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Donnie Weldon hit a great ball. Willian Mosley's late challenge caught a Michellton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Mosley helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Xeneise got a freekick which was hit by Willian Mosley. The Michellton FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
