Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrien Belanger started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Spurfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrien Belanger came free, but Rudolph Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Xeneise getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Walton Cornell hit a great ball. Ramon Page fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Trépanier having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Spurfield AFC's Marcellin Sierra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clyde Trépanier. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. After 37 minutes of play, Spurfield AFC's Ramon Page made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Trépanier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Adrien Belanger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneise's goalkeeper Clyde Trépanier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Xeneise defense, Ramon Page kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clyde Trépanier. The Xeneise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clyde Trépanier should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcellin Sierra was the one to do the kick off. Ramon Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Clyde Trépanier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Archie Swain notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Spurfield AFC's Rudolph Pearce. Rudolph Pearce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clyde Trépanier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcellin Sierra in the 67th minute of play. Leopoldo Law's late challenge caught a Spurfield AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Law helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Xeneise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Law to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Ramon Page managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spurfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Page was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcellin Sierra struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Clyde Trépanier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spurfield AFC. The supporters of Spurfield AFC booed when Xeneise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Law didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emon Pouchard kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Spurfield AFC were awarded a corner. Gregory Hatcher went to the cornerflag to take it. Gregory Hatcher made a great header on Spurfield AFC's corner, it was just that Xeneise's Clyde Trépanier managed to reach the ball for a save. If Marcellin Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcellin Sierra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcellin Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Trépanier having to interfere. Spurfield AFC's Kelvin Mullins pulled a muscle in his back after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Leopoldo Law got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 97th minute, Leopoldo Law hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
