Rocky Blue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelien Kohler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Alfonso Adkins in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelien Kohler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marlin Swift during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rorketon getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marlin Swift hit a great ball. If Rocky Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Aurelien Kohler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rocky Blue's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Blue in the 41st minute of play forced Rorketon's goalkeeper Aurelien Kohler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 42nd minute of the match Marlin Swift completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marlin Swift a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 43 played minutes Rorketon got a freekick which was hit by Marlin Swift. Drinnan's Rocky Blue got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gale Canales to make the kick off. If Rocky Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Adkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Rocky Blue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willie Hubbard kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rocky Blue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Drinnan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Peoples to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Alfonso Adkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelien Kohler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gale Canales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gale Canales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Julian Pariseau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rorketon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
