Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Ituna FC's Jon Salter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Florentin Sansouci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delbert Gorman was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Aillik's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Salter came free, but Ambroise Mercure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Long Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aillik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Long Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Peck kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aillik's zone, Porter Pelchat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambroise Mercure came out of the goal and Porter Pelchat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Salter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ambroise Mercure came out and tried to block the shot, but Jon Salter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. If Porter Pelchat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jon Salter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Long Snell made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Aillik's zone, Porter Pelchat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambroise Mercure came out of the goal and Porter Pelchat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aillik's Ambroise Mercure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Salter in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Aillik's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Salter came free, but Ambroise Mercure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Jon Salter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Ituna FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon Salter. When Long Snell came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Aillik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Long Snell couldn't finish the play. When Aillik's Long Snell in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ituna FC's goalie prevented a goal. Porter Pelchat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Salter in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambroise Mercure prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambroise Mercure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porter Pelchat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Long Snell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delbert Gorman. Ituna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Long Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 97th match minute, Ituna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Salter to maneuver through the defense. Aillik were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ituna FC's much stronger midfield.
