Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adrien Belanger kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Xeneise getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Emon Pouchard hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Kevin Lindsey sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Xeneise's Clyde Trépanier didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Blue in the 8th minute of play forced Xeneise's goalkeeper Clyde Trépanier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Adrien Belanger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Pariseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drinnan's Julian Pariseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrien Belanger in the 20th minute of play. If Alfonso Adkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julian Pariseau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archie Swain in the 25th minute. Adrien Belanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Pariseau having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Archie Swain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xeneise's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Swain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Pariseau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sonny Dufour kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Archie Swain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Julian Pariseau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrien Belanger in the 37th minute of the match. Clyde Trépanier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocky Blue in the 47th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Xeneise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walton Cornell to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocky Blue made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Adrien Belanger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julian Pariseau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Adkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Clyde Trépanier made a huge save. Alfonso Adkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Rocky Blue tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clyde Trépanier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Xeneise's Lionel Blackman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Kevin Lindsey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Adrien Belanger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrien Belanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Julian Pariseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Drinnan got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Lindsey. For all the effort they put into the match, the Drinnan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Xeneise.
