Michellton FC's Carlton Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentin Sansouci in the 7th minute of play. Ambroise Mercure made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Leandro Thayer sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th match minute, Aillik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Goodson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Long Snell in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlton Grove saved Michellton FC from getting behind. Carlton Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Snell in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Long Snell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlton Grove was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Long Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aillik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Long Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute Long Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Chauncey Braden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Holloway didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leandro Thayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Carlton Grove successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The nice shot from Florentin Sansouci in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Carlton Grove had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Leandro Thayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Thayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ambroise Mercure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dee Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aillik's Ambroise Mercure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dee Peralta in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Marcel Goodson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Michellton FC's goalkeeper Carlton Grove, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugues Ernst hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Florentin Sansouci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
