Jae Enriquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlton Grove. Michellton FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Leandro Thayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chauncey Braden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aurelien Kohler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gale Canales couldn't finish the play. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Leandro Thayer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aurelien Kohler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Chauncey Braden fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelien Kohler, passed just outside the right post. Aurelien Kohler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chauncey Braden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Leandro Thayer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurelien Kohler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rorketon's Aurelien Kohler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chauncey Braden in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Michellton FC's zone, Alec Prather stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlton Grove came out of the goal and Alec Prather tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alec Prather was the one to do the kick off. Gale Canales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Gale Canales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rorketon's Aurelien Kohler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Thayer in the 62nd minute of play.
