Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rocky Blue started the match with the kick off. Shi Peng Ling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 6 minutes, Jamie Bernier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honey Badgers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamie Bernier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Drinnan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Peoples to maneuver through the defense. When Honey Badgers FC's Shi Peng Ling in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drinnan's goalie prevented a goal. Honey Badgers FC's Eustaquio Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Blue in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Peng Ling in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Pariseau saved Drinnan from getting behind. Julian Pariseau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Peng Ling in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Drinnan's zone, Jamie Bernier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Pariseau came out of the goal and Jamie Bernier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rocky Blue took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Playo. Eustaquio Playo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Drinnan booed when Honey Badgers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamie Bernier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shi Peng Ling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Julian Pariseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Shi Peng Ling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drinnan's Julian Pariseau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Rocky Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drinnan's zone, Shi Peng Ling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Pariseau came out of the goal and Shi Peng Ling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Honey Badgers FC's Shi Peng Ling in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drinnan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Shi Peng Ling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drinnan's Julian Pariseau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Peng Ling made a kick off. Julian Pariseau made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Jamie Bernier sent off a good shot on target. Drinnan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Shi Peng Ling 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. When Honey Badgers FC's Shi Peng Ling in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drinnan's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jamie Bernier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honey Badgers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Bernier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Pariseau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 78 in the game by Shi Peng Ling from a close distance when the talented Julian Pariseau managed to make a qualified save. Drinnan's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Peng Ling in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Pariseau saved Drinnan from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Higinio Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honey Badgers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Rodriguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Pariseau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Peng Ling in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Pariseau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Drinnan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Higinio Rodriguez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Higinio Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julian Pariseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honey Badgers FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
