Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Oakburn defense, Porter Pelchat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Desjardins. The Oakburn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Desjardins should have stopped the shot. René Desjardins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Salter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Porter Pelchat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Desjardins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Salter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Géraud Burgess sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porter Byers in the 22nd minute of play forced Ituna FC's goalkeeper Delbert Gorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Porter Byers fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Delbert Gorman having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Porter Pelchat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Porter Pelchat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Porter Pelchat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Porter Pelchat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes Oakburn got a freekick which was hit by Clarence Pollard. Jon Salter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Oakburn got a freekick which was hit by Stan McKenzie. With a little luck, Ituna FC's Delbert Gorman got control of the ball when Géraud Burgess tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Salter was the one to do the kick off. Porter Pelchat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but René Desjardins made a huge save. Delbert Gorman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Porter Byers went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Géraud Burgess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porter Byers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Porter Byers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakburn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Oakburn's René Desjardins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Oakburn from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinand Ybarra during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oakburn had won after a very even match.
