Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Max Beaver kicked off to start the match. If Manuel Deblois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kermit Durham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neal Sauriol in the 5th minute of play. Manuel Deblois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kermit Durham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Miles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Sharpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Neal Sauriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Max Beaver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waterville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Beaver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Sharpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Yves Ruiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wellington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waterville AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wellington's Yves Ruiz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Wellington's Cesar Sharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Beaver in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Wellington defense, Fidel Miles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Sharpe. The Wellington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Sharpe should have stopped the shot. Max Beaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cesar Sharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Deblois got free with Kermit Durham in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Waterville AFC's goalkeeper Kermit Durham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Deblois.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neal Sauriol made a kick off. Cesar Sharpe came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Waterville AFC's Fidel Miles. But to his dismay, Fidel Miles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 56 minutes into the match, Waterville AFC's Max Beaver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesar Sharpe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Neal Sauriol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kermit Durham was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. If Neal Sauriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Neal Sauriol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterville AFC's Kermit Durham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Max Beaver was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cesar Sharpe was a little too slow when Fidel Miles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. Kermit Durham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Deblois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sherwood Dailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Waterville AFC's Max Beaver in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wellington's goalie prevented a goal. Max Beaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Sharpe having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Waterville AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
