Jere Gill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Dube, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madoc's Kris Sheets suffered a fractured collar bone after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Denis Cronin fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goodwater FC's protests and gave Denis Cronin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Goodwater FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Cronin to maneuver through the defense. Jere Gill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boniface Stewart in the 8th minute of play. Boniface Stewart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boniface Stewart scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jere Gill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Goodwater FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Boniface Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Boniface Stewart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Gill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Madoc's Mitch Guérette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Madoc from getting a goal against them. Madoc's Mitch Guérette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmad Jeffries in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Goodwater FC booed when Madoc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riley Dube didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardo Goddard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Madoc's zone, Lewis Metz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Guérette came out of the goal and Lewis Metz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madoc's Mitch Guérette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Madoc from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmad Jeffries kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mitch Guérette. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmad Jeffries to strike the kick off in the second half. Mitch Guérette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmad Jeffries in the 54th minute of play. Bill Whaley kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jere Gill made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Boniface Stewart sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Riley Dube was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madoc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goodwater FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Madoc's Riley Dube got a free kick in the 69th minute. Riley Dube hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ricardo Goddard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Riley Dube got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ricardo Goddard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Guérette having to interfere. Boniface Stewart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jere Gill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Goddard kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Boniface Stewart struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Jere Gill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madoc. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
