Bruno Neal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Poole in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Gaylord Vernon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jermaine McCain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donnell Masson having to make a save. Emmanuel Mayberry hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Alonzo Clinton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Neal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Cardinal AFC's Donnell Masson got control of the ball when Felipe Puckett tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Cardinal AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kenny Marquez hit a great ball. Donnell Masson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jermaine McCain's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Ethan Poole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Neal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ethan Poole made a kick off. In the 57th minute Felipe Puckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnell Masson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Jermaine McCain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donnell Masson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Puckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cardinal AFC's zone, Jermaine McCain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donnell Masson came out of the goal and Jermaine McCain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Guinn during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cardinal AFC's Genaro Guinn got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ethan Poole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes, Rusty Grove mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sherridon and the Cardinal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Sherridon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Grove to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Neal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aurelien Rose. Donnell Masson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Puckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jermaine McCain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sherridon's supporters rose to their feet, but Jermaine McCain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
