An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxwell Stern in the 18th minute of play forced Kedgwick FC's goalkeeper Justin Weathers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sean Richard fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hartland's protests and gave Sean Richard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Hartland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Richard to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th match minute, Hartland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedrick Hill to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hartland booed when Kedgwick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reed Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jean Kraft's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abe Ramos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Hartland's Maxwell Stern got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Swan got free with Justin Weathers in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justin Weathers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxwell Stern in the 36th minute of the match. Nick Swan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Justin Weathers made a huge save. Herschel McNeill hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Abe Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Kraft, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Maxwell Stern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxwell Stern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean Kraft's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Abe Ramos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cedrick Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Weathers having to interfere. Jean Kraft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Abe Ramos made a huge save. Cedrick Hill hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Maxwell Stern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Weathers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Weathers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Leal in the 70th minute of the match. When Nick Swan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Hartland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Swan couldn't finish the play. Nick Swan struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Justin Weathers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hartland. Miquel Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abe Ramos having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Maxwell Stern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hartland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxwell Stern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxwell Stern took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justin Weathers. Justin Weathers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 92 minutes into the game, Vince Holman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kedgwick FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hartland the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Vince Holman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nick Swan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Weathers was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hartland had won after a very even match.
