Wardlow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Dubois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wardlow booed when Beaverlodge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristofer Law didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Jacinto Dubois put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luigi Gunter. Kristofer Law was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Beaverlodge getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kristofer Law hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Marcellus Crow sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luigi Gunter skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wardlow's zone, Salvador Davison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Lemons came out of the goal and Salvador Davison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Theo Lemons managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Beaverlodge's Freddy Ledbetter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacinto Dubois might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luigi Gunter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Dubois ran back to his position shaking his head. Keven Kane kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Freddy Ledbetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Theo Lemons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theo Lemons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Davison went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jacinto Dubois might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luigi Gunter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luigi Gunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keven Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
