The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Guynemer getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lamont Crandall hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Tobias Kimble sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Wiley Littlejohn threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tobias Kimble this time. Paschal Odell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiley Littlejohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedrick Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Pittman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. Wiley Littlejohn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Curtis Cochran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hugh Clarke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guynemer's goalkeeper Wiley Littlejohn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Guynemer's goal looked a bit too open when Cedrick Potter came free, but Wiley Littlejohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugh Clarke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Cochran in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

61 minutes into the match, Mooyie FC's goalkeeper Hugh Clarke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paschal Odell. Cedrick Potter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiley Littlejohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedrick Potter in the 70th minute of play. Mooyie FC's Hugh Clarke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Cochran in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Paschal Odell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugh Clarke. Mooyie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paschal Odell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Paschal Odell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Mooyie FC got a freekick which was hit by Joesph Hanna. In the 84th match minute, Guynemer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Camp to maneuver through the defense. Wiley Littlejohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedrick Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Curtis Cochran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hugh Clarke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Clarke made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Paschal Odell sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Mooyie FC's zone, Curtis Cochran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugh Clarke came out of the goal and Curtis Cochran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guynemer's Wiley Littlejohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joesph Hanna in the 94th minute of play. Jim Pittman struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Wiley Littlejohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mooyie FC. Mooyie FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guynemer for a fine match.
