The supporters of Macoun booed when Labrieville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Riel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Macoun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 40 played minutes Labrieville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrell Coles. With his leg William Herbert managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Macoun's Thurman Martin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Labrieville AFC's Armando Riel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gaspard Hogue might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Herbert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspard Hogue ran back to his position shaking his head. Thurman Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Labrieville AFC got a freekick which was hit by César Weber. Tyrell Coles kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspard Hogue in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Herbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspard Hogue in the 77th minute of play forced Labrieville AFC's goalkeeper William Herbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Labrieville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrell Coles. If Florencio Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
