Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Guynemer's Curtis Cochran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Guynemer's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Willard McGuire fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wiley Littlejohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willard McGuire in the 7th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Guynemer got a freekick which was hit by Darren Camp. 16 minutes into the match, Fairview's goal looked a bit too open when Paschal Odell came free, but Denny Becerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curtis Cochran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Denny Becerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Armando Guertin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willard McGuire struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Wiley Littlejohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairview. Dee Avalos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wiley Littlejohn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dee Avaloss short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Wiley Littlejohn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Denny Becerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curtis Cochran's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Guynemer's Frédéric Sorenson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Willard McGuire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willard McGuire was the one to do the kick off. Willard McGuire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiley Littlejohn having to interfere. Denny Becerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Cochran, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Denny Becerra made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Paschal Odell sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Guynemer's Darren Camp got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Dee Avalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fairview fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Curtis Cochran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Curtis Cochran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willard McGuire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiley Littlejohn having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curtis Cochran in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denny Becerra saved Fairview from getting behind. After 83 played minutes Guynemer got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Cochran. 89 minutes into the match, Fairview's goalkeeper Denny Becerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paschal Odell. Willard McGuire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Guynemer getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lamont Crandall hit a great ball. Wiley Littlejohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dee Avalos in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Curtis Cochran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 99th minute, Fairview's Marcelo Welch seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcelo Welch the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fairview protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcelo Welch had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Denny Becerra, was totally fooled by Guynemer's Kelley Lafrenière, who 101 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
