A collision led to Labrieville AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lyndon Jacques hit a great ball. Noranda's Roderick Wilhelm got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Herbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderick Wilhelm in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Labrieville AFC's zone, Monte Laberge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Herbert came out of the goal and Monte Laberge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Labrieville AFC's goalkeeper William Herbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elliot Burke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Abbott in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Armando Riel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Noranda's Elliot Burke. Elliot Burke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Armando Riel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Elliot Burke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Shane Keith kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Labrieville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Monte Laberge came free, but William Herbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roderick Wilhelm came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Noranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roderick Wilhelm couldn't finish the play. When Lyndon Jacques came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Labrieville AFC fans jumped to their feet.
