Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kennith Larkin started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiarton FC's goalkeeper Thaddeus Belanger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abram Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Metivier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Chas Cotton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Silas Metivier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lomond AFC's Chas Cotton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chas Cotton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas Metivier's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Lomond AFC's Kirk Stanton got a free kick in the 15th minute. Kennith Larkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Thaddeus Belanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ike Grandbois charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ike Grandbois the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Ike Grandbois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thaddeus Belanger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Stahl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. After 26 played minutes Wiarton FC got a freekick which was hit by Ike Grandbois. Évariste Courtois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chas Cotton having to interfere. When Porfirio Sargent fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomond AFC's protests and gave Porfirio Sargent a yellow card for diving instead. Abram Stahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thaddeus Belanger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Wiarton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Metivier to maneuver through the defense. Abram Stahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Thaddeus Belanger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 43 in the game by Abram Stahl from a close distance when the talented Thaddeus Belanger managed to make a qualified save. Wiarton FC's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Évariste Courtois stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kennith Larkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Abram Stahl made a precise shot to the right of Thaddeus Belanger. Wiarton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 59 played minutes Wiarton FC got a freekick which was hit by Silas Metivier. After 60 minutes of play, Lomond AFC's Kennith Larkin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thaddeus Belanger was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th match minute, Wiarton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Metivier to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes, Lomond AFC's Quintin Parnell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thaddeus Belanger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lomond AFC reached it. A collision led to Lomond AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kirk Stanton hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Wiarton FC's Évariste Courtois got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Wiarton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Stahl came free, but Thaddeus Belanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Stahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thaddeus Belanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abram Stahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abram Stahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thaddeus Belanger having to make a save. 87 minutes into the game, Silas Metivier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wiarton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomond AFC the free kick. A collision led to Wiarton FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Silas Metivier hit a great ball. Quintin Parnell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thaddeus Belanger. Wiarton FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Begin during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wiarton FC's Gary Craven got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lomond AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wiarton FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
