An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Stahl in the 32nd minute of play forced Wiarton FC's goalkeeper Thaddeus Belanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Abram Stahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thaddeus Belanger. Wiarton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Stahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Wiarton FC's Thaddeus Belanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Stahl in the 35th minute of play. Chas Cotton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Metivier in the 39th minute of play.

Thaddeus Belanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Stahl in the 54th minute of play. Thaddeus Belanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennith Larkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Kirk Stanton's late challenge caught a Wiarton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kirk Stanton helped the player get up and apologised. Kirk Stanton hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Silas Metivier put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Chas Cotton. Abram Stahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thaddeus Belanger having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Abram Stahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thaddeus Belanger. Lomond AFC's Kennith Larkin got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Évariste Courtois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiarton FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gary Craven in the 91st minute. Wiarton FC's Gary Craven was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chas Cotton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thaddeus Belanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennith Larkin in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lomond AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
