Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simon McKenna took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simon McKenna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Tatum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Desmond Luna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Tatum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 12 minutes, Bill Ott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lawnhill AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bill Ott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markus Tatum came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Partizam Torshavn's Simon McKenna. But to his dismay, Simon McKenna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Antone Bowman charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antone Bowman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lawnhill AFC's Antone Bowman got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lawnhill AFC's zone, Sjors Dagelet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Tatum came out of the goal and Sjors Dagelet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Margarito Vinson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Markus Tatum. Lawnhill AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sjors Dagelet in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Tatum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 played minutes Lawnhill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bill Ott. Markus Tatum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjors Dagelet in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Partizam Torshavn's Sjors Dagelet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Tatum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Simon McKenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Partizam Torshavn's Don Labossière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donnie L'Heureux in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Donnie L'Heureux made the kick off in the second half. Sjors Dagelet in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Markus Tatum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Markus Tatum was a little too slow when Simon McKenna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sjors Dagelet got free with Markus Tatum in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sjors Dagelet had several of the Lawnhill AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Markus Tatum as he didn't even see the shot coming. Partizam Torshavn's Noe Roper was substituted for Sjors Dagelet. If Simon McKenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-6 became the score in the 85th minute when Noe Roper elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alejandro Arpin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Markus Tatum. Lawnhill AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Partizam Torshavn booed when Lawnhill AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Post didn't get a good kick on the ball. Partizam Torshavn played a much better game than Lawnhill AFC and deserved their victory. The Lawnhill AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
