Garry Trent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donnie L'Heureux, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Lawnhill AFC's Markus Tatum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Boisclair in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olen Faure in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Tatum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Olen Faure ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Tatum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Lawnhill AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Aldridge came free, but Markus Tatum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes, MacRae's Bo Huddleston shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Markus Tatum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MacRae reached it. Garry Trent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donnie L'Heureux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MacRae's Garry Trent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save MacRae from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, MacRae's goal looked a bit too open when Donnie L'Heureux came free, but Garry Trent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Dong Boisclair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MacRae's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lawnhill AFC the free kick. Dong Boisclair hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Lawnhill AFC's Markus Tatum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrick Aldridge in the 38th minute of play. Carroll Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Garry Trent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrick Aldridge to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lance Post hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marty Sloan during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MacRae's Marty Sloan got a free kick in the 54th minute. Antone Bowman struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Garry Trent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lawnhill AFC. With a little luck, Lawnhill AFC's Markus Tatum got control of the ball when Olen Faure tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olen Faure struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Markus Tatum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MacRae. A hard shot 68 in the game by Olen Faure from a close distance when the talented Markus Tatum managed to make a qualified save. Lawnhill AFC's players were relieved. If Olen Faure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carroll Bonds in the 81st minute of play forced MacRae's goalkeeper Garry Trent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrick Aldridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Tatum having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match, Rodrick Aldridge tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Markus Tatum saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
