Myles Nielsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bristol's Myles Nielsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Preston in the 7th minute of play. Lambert Albert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Dove having to interfere. When Michel Preston came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Crossfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Preston couldn't finish the play. Myles Nielsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickey Leach, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Norbert Ragland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Crossfield got a freekick which was hit by Asa Lamb. Yves Pendleton kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Xavier Hadley kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Norbert Ragland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Dove having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickey Leach made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Preston in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Myles Nielsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Myles Nielsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickey Leach in the 57th minute of play. Stephen Dove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Ragland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crossfield's Michel Preston was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Bristol's goalkeeper Myles Nielsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asa Lamb.
