Ellsworth Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Singh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jermaine McAllister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orrville's Ellsworth Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Singh in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Singh in the 32nd minute of play forced Orrville's goalkeeper Ellsworth Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Sterling in the 34th minute of play forced Thetford AFC's goalkeeper Kraig Chartré to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Asa Langford fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thetford AFC's protests and gave Asa Langford a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute of the match Dylan Vann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ellsworth Salgado skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Sterling in the 40th minute of play forced Thetford AFC's goalkeeper Kraig Chartré to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leroy Singh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellsworth Salgado having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Orrville's Ellsworth Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jermaine McAllister in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Lynch during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Orrville booed when Thetford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dee Kerr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kraig Chartré was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Lester Martineau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lester Martineau really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 70th minute, Cristobal Perry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Thetford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Asa Langford. Lester Martineau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kraig Chartré having to interfere. Jermaine McAllister struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ellsworth Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thetford AFC. Thetford AFC's Kraig Chartré proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Thetford AFC from getting a goal against them. Leroy Singh hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Thetford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lester Martineau came free, but Kraig Chartré reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jermaine McAllister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orrville's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
