Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Ross Morrow made the kick off and thus started the match. Sherbrook AFC's Rayford Dennis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Preston Chavez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Theirn Spicer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th match minute, Newboro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud Chadwick to maneuver through the defense. If Edgar Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Thomson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Thomson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Newboro AFC's Edgardo Thomson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Sherbrook AFC's Edgar Moran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Preston Chavez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Newboro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Morrow came free, but Preston Chavez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ross Morrow in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Preston Chavez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ross Morrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Sherbrook AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Dunbar came free, but Kevin Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th play minute Edgar Moran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Preston Chavez. 1-1. Arnaud Chadwick kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Ross Morrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Chavez having to interfere. Preston Chavez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Morrow in the 79th minute of play. Norberto Dunbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Ross Morrow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Preston Chavez. Newboro AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ross Morrow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Norberto Dunbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes, Newboro AFC's Federico McCann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevin Tabor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newboro AFC reached it. Sherbrook AFC played a much better game than Newboro AFC and deserved their victory. The Newboro AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
