In the 6th minute Marshall Lowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Barney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Barney was a little too slow when Norbert Driscoll got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Norbert Driscoll came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Brampton Beasts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Driscoll couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Rankin struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Pepito Fondos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoges AFC. 22 minutes into the match, Limoges AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emon Bain came free, but Michael Barney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Norbert Driscoll dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michael Barney, 3-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limoges AFC's goalkeeper Michael Barney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michael Barney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Driscoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Brampton Beasts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucien Blum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Driscoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Michael Barney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loyd Pickett during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Barney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Driscoll in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Brampton Beasts's Norbert Driscoll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Barney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Norbert Driscoll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Barney. Limoges AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Driscoll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Brampton Beasts walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
