Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ross Morrow got the match started through his kick off. Jermaine McAllister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jermaine McAllister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kevin Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Moran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Ross Morrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kraig Chartré saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Asa Langford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thetford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sherbrook AFC the free kick. The supporters of Sherbrook AFC booed when Thetford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asa Langford didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sherbrook AFC's goalkeeper Kevin Tabor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Singh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ross Morrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kraig Chartré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thetford AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Ross Morrow scored to the left of an out of position Kraig Chartré, making the score, 1-1. Ross Morrow might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kraig Chartré. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ross Morrow ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leroy Singh to make the kick off. Asa Langford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Tabor having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Jermaine McAllister cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kevin Tabor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jermaine McAllister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kevin Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Ross Morrow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sherbrook AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Thetford AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Saul Lynch hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Moran in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kraig Chartré prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edgar Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sherbrook AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Moran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kraig Chartré breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Morrow in the 77th minute of play forced Thetford AFC's goalkeeper Kraig Chartré to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sherbrook AFC's Edgar Moran got a free kick in the 81st minute. The Sherbrook AFC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Sherbrook AFC's Ross Morrow looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th match minute, Sherbrook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theirn Spicer to maneuver through the defense. Theirn Spicer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kraig Chartré having to interfere. Sherbrook AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Thetford AFC for a fine match.
