Theirn Spicer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Sydney Rivard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cowley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Rivard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theirn Spicer's late challenge caught a Cowley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theirn Spicer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Sherbrook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theirn Spicer to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Sherbrook AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Paquette came free, but Kevin Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Moran might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stéphane Fink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Moran ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edgar Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cowley's Stéphane Fink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Morrow in the 44th minute of play. Sydney Rivard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albert Paquette scored 1-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Tabor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Sherbrook AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cowley were winning 1-2.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Cowley:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sherbrook AFC:s goal. If Albert Paquette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Cowley's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Morrow came free, but Stéphane Fink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Paquette had several of the Sherbrook AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Kevin Tabor as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Theirn Spicer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Morrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stéphane Fink having to interfere. With 100 minutes on the clock, Kent Carrasco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rayford Dennis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cowley had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
