Spectators: 6747 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Burgeo's protests and gave Séverin Branch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Burgeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Séverin Branch to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Burgeo's zone, Lucien Blum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florence Labrecque came out of the goal and Lucien Blum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Lucien Blum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brampton Beasts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Roland Matthews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Burgeo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! If Lucien Blum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florence Labrecque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Matthews in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marshall Lowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brampton Beasts's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Lowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florence Labrecque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 minutes of play, Brampton Beasts's Heriberto Altman made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florence Labrecque was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th match minute, Burgeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilien Beltran to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Brampton Beasts's Emon Bain got a free kick in the 41st minute. Frances Connelly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepito Fondos having to make a save. Florence Labrecque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Matthews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Brampton Beasts were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lucien Blum made the kick off in the second half. Burgeo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Roland Matthews scored to the left of an out of position Florence Labrecque, making the score, 0-5. Roland Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florence Labrecque having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Marshall Lowe made a precise shot to the right of Florence Labrecque. Burgeo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. A collision led to Burgeo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Freddie Booth hit a great ball. Marshall Lowe hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Burgeo's Florence Labrecque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Driscoll in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Burgeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Laberge to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Driscoll struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Florence Labrecque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brampton Beasts. After 71 played minutes Burgeo got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Walden. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Norbert Driscoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florence Labrecque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norbert Driscoll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florence Labrecque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Brampton Beasts's Roland Matthews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florence Labrecque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Burgeo's zone, Roland Matthews stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florence Labrecque came out of the goal and Roland Matthews tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Matthews got free with Florence Labrecque in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Norbert Driscoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
