Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emmanuel Wood took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Buck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Fontas got a freekick which was hit by Earl Mann. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Wood in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rory Shockley saved Fontas from getting behind. In the last second Woodrow Dawkins throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alva Hamilton in the 12thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bradley Pate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liscomb's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradley Pate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rory Shockley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bradley Pate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Leslie Gareau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liscomb were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Fontas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanley Chambers took the corner. Emmanuel Wood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Fontas got a freekick which was hit by Aron Campbell. 35 minutes into the match, Liscomb's Emmanuel Wood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rory Shockley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Liscomb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fontas:s goal. Glenn Bates shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bradley Pate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rory Shockley having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alva Hamilton to make the kick off. When Fontas's Julio Buck in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liscomb's goalie prevented a goal. Bradley Pate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rory Shockley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emmanuel Wood showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Bradley Pate's late challenge caught a Fontas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bradley Pate helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Liscomb's Bradley Pate got a free kick in the 64th minute. David Lockwood hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alva Hamilton in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Woodrow Dawkins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd match minute, Fontas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Tyler to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Liscomb's Stanley Chambers tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bradley Pate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rory Shockley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Bradley Pate could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Rory Shockley however easily saved by the left post. Fontas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
