Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wyatt Powell kicked off to start the match. The shot was stopped by Faustino Dubois but with some difficulty. 15 minutes into the match, Hornepayne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wyatt Powell came free, but Hubert Beverly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hornepayne AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Herman Pham hit a great ball. Oscar Dowdy scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Beverly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Oscar Dowdy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taloyoak FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Oscar Dowdy struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Hubert Beverly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taloyoak FC. The audience was convinced that Wyatt Powell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubert Beverly was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Christian Saucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ervin Lepage hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Esmé Funk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hubert Beverly skillfully saved the ball. Oscar Dowdy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Beverly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Saucedo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Taloyoak FC's zone, Emil D'Avis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Dubois came out of the goal and Emil D'Avis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes, Herman Pham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hornepayne AFC and the Taloyoak FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Hornepayne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Pham to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Dowdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hubert Beverly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hornepayne AFC's Hubert Beverly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Hornepayne AFC from getting a goal against them. Taloyoak FC's Faustino Dubois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil D'Avis in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornepayne AFC's goalkeeper Hubert Beverly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Hornepayne AFC got a freekick which was hit by Herman Pham. Emil D'Avis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Dubois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Saucedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Taloyoak FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Worthington. Faustino Dubois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Saucedo in the 91st minute of play. Shon Gant charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shon Gant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Taloyoak FC got a freekick which was hit by Shon Gant. The supporters of Hornepayne AFC booed when Taloyoak FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jae L'Heureux didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christian Saucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil D'Avis struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Faustino Dubois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hornepayne AFC. Taloyoak FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
