Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hipolito Carrington kicked off to start the match. If Wyatt Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wyatt Powell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noé Begin. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Corey Dostie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Dubois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Carrington in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nelson FC's Hipolito Carrington got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a good free kick, Hipolito Carrington got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Taloyoak FC. Corey Dostie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Dubois having to interfere. Hipolito Carrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Faustino Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Corey Dostie notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Taloyoak FC's Faustino Dubois. Faustino Dubois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Taloyoak FC's Wyatt Powell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noé Begin. Noé Begin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Corey Dostie might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Dubois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corey Dostie ran back to his position shaking his head. Taloyoak FC's Oscar Dowdy got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noé Begin made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Oscar Dowdy sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes Wyatt Powell rounded Nelson FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wyatt Powell made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Taloyoak FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chung Pritchett to maneuver through the defense. If Corey Dostie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Carrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Faustino Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corey Dostie struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Faustino Dubois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nelson FC. In the 66th minute, Oscar Dowdy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noé Begin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Corey Dostie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nelson FC's goalkeeper Noé Begin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taloyoak FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
