Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Hornepayne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Primeau came free, but Hubert Beverly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benton Holbrook kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Foster Varner during the 12th minute. Omer Auger made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Emil D'Avis sent off a good shot on target. Hassan Haywood hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Emil D'Avis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Omer Auger made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Jospeh Ellison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Primeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Beverly having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Primeau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bindloss AFC's Omer Auger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Saucedo in the 55th minute of play. Omer Auger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil D'Avis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Christian Saucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bindloss AFC's Hassan Haywood got a free kick in the 69th minute. Emil D'Avis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Primeau in the 75th minute of play forced Hornepayne AFC's goalkeeper Hubert Beverly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Jospeh Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bindloss AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jospeh Ellison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
