After a rather tough play, Carmi AFC's Patrice Lebrun got a free kick in the 4th minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Reyes Crane put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfonzo Patel. In the 12th match minute, Dover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morton Tate to maneuver through the defense. Carmi AFC's Serge Daugherty couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dover. Carmi AFC's Jay Lord got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Prince Faure sped through Dover's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicholas Burrell. The audience was convinced that Fermin Benoit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Burrell was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Carmi AFC's goalkeeper Alfonzo Patel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reyes Crane. Burton Davidson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reyes Crane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dover's Nicholas Burrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Lord in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burton Davidson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jay Lord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Burrell was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Burton Davidson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonzo Patel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Reyes Crane came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Dover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reyes Crane couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Reyes Crane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonzo Patel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jay Lord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Burrell was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Jay Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Burrell having to interfere. The supporters of Carmi AFC booed when Dover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alton Womack didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Carmi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prince Faure to maneuver through the defense. When Fermin Benoit came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Carmi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Benoit couldn't finish the play. Carmi AFC were furious when Serge Daugherty was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Carmi AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dover:s goal. Dover's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
