All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Rojas to make the kick off. Trenton Duval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Springburn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trenton Duval should have stopped the shot. Titus McCoy hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Rudolph Gagnon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Springburn FC's Trenton Duval didn't even have to move. In the 92nd minute, Desmond Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desmond Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trenton Duval having to interfere. Cumberland FC played a much better game than Springburn FC and deserved their victory. The Springburn FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
