Spectators: 6751 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1751, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Faustino Siegel took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Edmonton F.C. booed when Carmi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Daugherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Carmi AFC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Carmi AFC's Fermin Benoit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Faustino Siegel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonzo Patel having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Carmi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prince Faure to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Edmonton F.C.'s Moises Novak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonzo Patel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edmonton F.C. reached it. Dominique Nichols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alfonzo Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jay Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Siegel in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonzo Patel saved Carmi AFC from getting behind. 1-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Dominique Nichols elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jay Lord made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Perez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Carmi AFC's Alfonzo Patel. Alfonzo Patel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jay Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Carmi AFC's Prince Faure got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Gaston McCauley sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carmi AFC's Alfonzo Patel didn't even have to move. Gaston McCauley hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Prince Faure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Faustino Siegel made a precise shot to the right of Alfonzo Patel. Carmi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Alfonzo Patel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Siegel in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Edmonton F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Moises Novak hit a great ball. Von Chung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Lord in the 96th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Carmi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Siegel came free, but Alfonzo Patel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Edmonton F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carmi AFC throughout the match.
