Malik Pickett was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Boyce Quick capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boyce Quick really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Denis Belisle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lively AFC's Denis Belisle got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nitwanga AFC's Donald Winters got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lively AFC's goalkeeper Malik Pickett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Nitwanga AFC's Boyce Quick in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boyce Quick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boyce Quick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Malik Pickett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lively AFC's goalkeeper Malik Pickett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lively AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nitwanga AFC.
