The supporters of Waskatenau booed when Mobile FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaldo Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clifton Grimard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Whitney Vasquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan Michaud charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Michaud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waskatenau's Raphaël Leclerc shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Whitney Vasquez but with some difficulty. Andrea Mendoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wayne Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Waskatenau getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dee Deal hit a great ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Waskatenau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ryan Michaud was slow to take the kick. During this time Mobile FC's players had a chance to rest. With an all-out effort, Waskatenau's Whitney Vasquez threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clifton Grimard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Waskatenau's Corin Corbin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wayne Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Beau Haines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corin Corbin might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Whitney Vasquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corin Corbin ran back to his position shaking his head. Beau Haines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Mendoza having to interfere. When Mobile FC's Wayne Lund in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waskatenau's goalie prevented a goal.
