Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trent Krause started the match with the kick off. Loren Townsend scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maria Handy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Millard Haines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Émilien Sheppard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Goodlands's Rosendo Laux got a free kick in the 14th minute. Clarence Paulet, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Émilien Sheppard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanford Rader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Renard Hillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sanford Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millard Haines took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Émilien Sheppard. Émilien Sheppard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Émilien Sheppard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millard Haines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maria Handy made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Loren Townsend sent off a good shot on target. Trent Krause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maria Handy having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Sydney Irizarry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Trent Krause came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Goodlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trent Krause couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Goodlands's goal looked a bit too open when Sanford Rader came free, but Émilien Sheppard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Loren Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Émilien Sheppard made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sanford Rader sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Cruz Hyde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Émilien Sheppard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millard Haines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sanford Rader blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Émilien Sheppard having to make a save. If Millard Haines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Goodlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Laux to maneuver through the defense. If Trent Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Normand Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayfield and the Goodlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bayfield getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Normand Aguilera hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Loren Townsend notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bayfield's Maria Handy. Maria Handy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Loren Townsend ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maria Handy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 95th match minute, Bayfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normand Aguilera to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bayfield players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Goodlands.
