The Napadogan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jame Cisneros should have stopped the shot. Brent Chappell hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Napadogan AFC's Émilien Sheppard threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roger Tuttle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27thth minute of the game Trent Krause who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Napadogan AFC's Jame Cisneros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Goodlands's Loren Townsend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jame Cisneros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Brent Chappell kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Goodlands's Ulysses Atwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jame Cisneros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goodlands reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trent Krause made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ronny Trent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trent Krause ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Weston Shearer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
