Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ashley Morin got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Goodlands's goal looked a bit too open when Derick Keller came free, but Émilien Sheppard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Queenstown FC booed when Goodlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Laux didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Nathan Henson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queenstown FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goodlands the free kick. After a rather tough play, Queenstown FC's Nathan Henson got a free kick in the 8th minute. Goodlands's Émilien Sheppard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Morin in the 16th minute of play. Émilien Sheppard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derick Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Goodlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ashley Morin came free, but Émilien Sheppard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Goodlands's Geoffrey Christensen got a free kick in the 21st minute. Derick Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émilien Sheppard having to interfere. Geoffrey Christensen's late challenge caught a Queenstown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geoffrey Christensen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Goodlands's Geoffrey Christensen got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes, Queenstown FC's Sang Garrett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Émilien Sheppard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Queenstown FC reached it. If Derick Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Queenstown FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Derick Keller hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Nathan Henson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Émilien Sheppard. Goodlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathan Henson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Derick Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loren Townsend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trent Krause made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Queenstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loren Townsend came free, but Marcus Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ashley Morin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ashley Morin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Émilien Sheppard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Trent Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walton Worley hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Trent Krause struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Marcus Lam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goodlands. In the 89th minute, Trent Krause got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Trent Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Trent Krause shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loren Townsend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loren Townsend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Marcus Lam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Queenstown FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
