Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Donte Amos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Damian Varner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maria Handy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Western Armenia's Donte Amos got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noble Ohara hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanford Rader in the 14th minute of play forced Western Armenia's goalkeeper Anthon Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Western Armenia got a freekick which was hit by Dominique LaGarde. In the 24thth minute of the game Donte Amos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayfield's Maria Handy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Varner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Western Armenia's Donte Amos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maria Handy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maria Handy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donte Amos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Donte Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donte Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maria Handy having to interfere. Millard Haines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Anthon Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bayfield's zone, Ian Boles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maria Handy came out of the goal and Ian Boles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Donte Amos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maria Handy was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Maria Handy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donte Amos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Damian Varner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Millard Haines to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Western Armenia's Damian Varner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maria Handy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 59th match minute, Bayfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josiah Boucher to maneuver through the defense. Damian Varner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
