Jae Beaupré was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michichi AFC's Hassan Doe got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Donte Amos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Western Armenia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Western Armenia's Donte Amos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 26th minute, one of Michichi AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Michichi AFC. Jae Beaupré went to the wrong direction when Damian Varner was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Anthon Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Leduc in the 36th minute of the match. When Donte Amos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Western Armenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donte Amos couldn't finish the play. Jae Beaupré made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donte Amos in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Michichi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Byrd. Jae Beaupré took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donte Amos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthon Bergman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hassan Doe went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donte Amos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard Raines hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Donte Amos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michichi AFC's Jae Beaupré played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donte Amos in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Western Armenia booed when Michichi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Byrd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominique LaGarde charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
