Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donte Amos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cordell Lamare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Kieth Finley made a huge save. In the last second Kieth Finley throw himself and got hold of the ball when Donte Amos in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Donte Amos had several of the Hanley's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kieth Finley as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 13th minute, Donte Amos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kieth Finley, passed just outside the right post. After 14 played minutes Western Armenia got a freekick which was hit by Philbert Shaffer. The audience was convinced that Donte Amos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kieth Finley was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Donte Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match Philbert Shaffer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kieth Finley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donte Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieth Finley having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Hanley's goal looked a bit too open when Donte Amos came free, but Kieth Finley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Donte Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Randy Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hanley's supporters rose to their feet, but Randy Delaney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthon Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donte Amos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Kieth Finley made a huge save. Gilles Gardner lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Hanley a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sean Beam, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Western Armenia's Anthon Bergman. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Randy Delaney was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Varner in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kieth Finley saved Hanley from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Branden Comer during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Branden Comer hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Damian Varner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kieth Finley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Damian Varner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Western Armenia's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Varner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieth Finley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kieth Finley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Varner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ian Boles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Western Armenia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Boles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieth Finley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Williams Ruiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kieth Finley having to make a save. In the 79th minute Damian Varner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kieth Finley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Damian Varner came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Western Armenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Varner couldn't finish the play. Damian Varner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Damian Varner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian Boles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kieth Finley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
