Altona AFC's Jonathan Neely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Roberson in the 10th minute of play. Roger Sicard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sheshegwaning's Jordan Horner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Ratliff in the 13th minute of play. Sheshegwaning's Aaron Roberson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toussaint Esquivel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hugo Ratliff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Toussaint Esquivel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Horner made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Toussaint Esquivel sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Roberson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Neely having to interfere. The supporters of Altona AFC booed when Sheshegwaning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Willoughby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Sheshegwaning's Roger Sicard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Neely narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sheshegwaning's zone, Toussaint Esquivel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordan Horner came out of the goal and Toussaint Esquivel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Ratliff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Ratliff in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordan Horner saved Sheshegwaning from getting behind. Aaron Roberson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Neely having to interfere. Roger Sicard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Neely 66 minutes into the match. When Renaud Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altona AFC's protests and gave Renaud Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Renaud Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damion Kohler charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damion Kohler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nazaire Willingham took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Neely. Jonathan Neely dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Altona AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Omar Jensen hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Hugo Ratliff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Horner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Altona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monte Ash to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, Altona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loic Maloney to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Neely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Sicard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Sicard in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Neely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes Sheshegwaning got a freekick which was hit by Adrien Willoughby. After having played for 88 minutes, Hugo Ratliff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altona AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Ratliff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Altona AFC's Toussaint Esquivel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordan Horner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jordan Horner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toussaint Esquivel in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sheshegwaning had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
