With a couple of smart ball manuevers Auguste Bullard in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodore Nichols saved Minnitaki FC from getting behind. Deandre Carney charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deandre Carney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Minnitaki FC got a freekick which was hit by Deandre Carney. If Berry Larsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Duncan Flamand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stéphane Zamora having to interfere. When Berry Larsen came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kincardine AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berry Larsen couldn't finish the play. Theodore Nichols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berry Larsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlo Lam to make the kick off. Auguste Bullard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Nichols having to interfere. Stéphane Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Flamand in the 67th minute of the match. 75 minutes in the game, Auguste Bullard dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Kincardine AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taylor Craig to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols got control of the ball when Emerson Bailey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodore Nichols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berry Larsen in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Duncan Flamand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minnitaki FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Stéphane Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Lam in the 95th minute of the match.
