The supporters of Ladner FC booed when Morricetown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Quessy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglass Maxwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Carter Pollock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Morricetown FC's Elton Herbert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Bolduc. Ernesto Bolduc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Daron McClain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ernesto Bolduc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daron McClain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Douglass Maxwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglass Maxwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Pollock having to interfere. Daron McClain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Elton Herbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morricetown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elton Herbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quentin McMillan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ladner FC's Sylvestre Crook tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elton Herbert was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Daron McClain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Bolduc. Ladner FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daron McClain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Douglass Maxwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorsey Westbrook during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Morricetown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorsey Westbrook to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Morricetown FC's goalkeeper Carter Pollock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglass Maxwell. Ernesto Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elton Herbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladner FC's Jonas Sheehan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carter Pollock but with some difficulty. Douglass Maxwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Pollock having to interfere. Dion Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Pollock having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ladner FC's zone, Daron McClain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Bolduc came out of the goal and Daron McClain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daron McClain in the 95th minute of play forced Ladner FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Bolduc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daron McClain came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Morricetown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daron McClain couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ladner FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Morricetown FC.
