With a little luck, Glendon's Sam Loyd got control of the ball when Douglass Maxwell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duncan Reeder charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duncan Reeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Douglass Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ladner FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
