Glendon's Sam Loyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Glendon from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isiah Cordero in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rashad Magee saved Luseland from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Ismael Aponte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilmer Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Luseland booed when Glendon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne Robillard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Hoff got free with Sam Loyd in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renaldo Alston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sam Loyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Glendon's Sam Loyd got control of the ball when Shane Hoff tried to sneak it across the goal line.

If Shane Hoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane Hoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Glendon defense, Ismael Aponte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sam Loyd. The Glendon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sam Loyd should have stopped the shot. Wayne Robillard might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rashad Magee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wayne Robillard ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Luseland's Shane Hoff got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Wayne Robillard suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 66 minutes, Renaldo Alston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luseland and the Glendon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Renaldo Alston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Glendon's goal looked a bit too open when Renaldo Alston came free, but Sam Loyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Luseland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Aponte to maneuver through the defense. Rashad Magee came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Glendon's Isiah Cordero. But to his dismay, Isiah Cordero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Aponte in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Loyd saved Glendon from getting behind. Shane Hoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Ismael Aponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Loyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Rodrick Hagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luseland's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrick Hagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Loyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
