Célestin Muniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Heard in the 5th minute of the match. Brendan Heard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignace Mallory's late challenge caught a Amazon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignace Mallory helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Amazon booed when Riceton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignace Mallory didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Heard in the 12th minute of play forced Riceton AFC's goalkeeper Célestin Muniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Amazon getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eric Nadeau hit a great ball. Matthew Bruneau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Maximo Darby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Odell Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Riceton AFC's Louis Willoughby ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximo Darby. Maximo Darby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Célestin Muniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Nadeau in the 41st minute of play. Matthew Bruneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthew Bruneau to make the kick off. Karl Gabriaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Célestin Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Willoughby during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Riceton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Willoughby. In the 74th minute, Karl Gabriaux fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Odell Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Willoughby was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute, Louis Willoughby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendan Heard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Célestin Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célestin Muniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Gabriaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignace Mallory got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Karl Gabriaux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Célestin Muniz came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl Gabriaux slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
